#ShopSmall on Small Business Saturday

Saturday, Nov. 25 is Small Business Saturday® – a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for our communities.

Why shop small?

  • Small businesses create the most jobs. They employ 51.4 percent of the work force in Washington and 55.4 percent in Idaho.

  • Local business owners invest in your community. When you shop at locally owned small businesses, more money is kept in the community and reinvested by the business owners who live there.

  • Unique businesses are an important part of your community's distinctive character. The unique character of your community is what brought you there and will encourage tourism and economic growth.

The SBA encourages you to shop at your favorite local stores and discover new ones.

To help you discover new businesses, we will feature a local business in each newsletter leading up to Small Business Saturday.
